Climate & temperature

The weather in South Africa is excellent with lots of sunshine all year round. It is recommended to bring comfortable clothes for both hot and cold conditions, as the mornings can be cold and the afternoons can sometimes be extremely hot. Hats, eye protection and sunscreen are recommended, especially if you are fair skinned or susceptible to sunburn. Very comfortable walking boots or shoes are essential.

Recommended packing list

It is unnecessary to pack excessive clothing because laundry services are provided. Three changes of clothing should be sufficient. Hunting gear should be dark green, brown or khaki. It is acceptable to wear camouflage clothing during the hunt. Where possible, go for comfortable & lightweight gear and prepare for hot, cold and rainy conditions. And try to be quiet when stalking.
